Meet Fanny Brewer, the new Technical Assistance Specialist for the Great Plains Region! Fanny was raised on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in North Central South Dakota. She attended Dickinson State University and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Farm and Ranch Management.
For the past 25 years Fanny, her husband, and four children have run a cattle operation on the Cheyenne River reservation. Fanny has also been the Ziebach County Soil Conservation District Manager for the past 12 years. Fanny is very excited to be part of the IAC team as the Great Plains Technical Assistant Specialist. Conservation practices and regenerative agriculture have been a huge part of Fanny’s ranching operation and professional career for years. She is looking forward to meeting and assisting producers in their goals for their operations and sharing any knowledge she may have or learn new with them.
