2019 Eastern Native Youth Food Sovereignty Summit

Applications are open for the 2019 Eastern Native Youth Food Sovereignty Summit, organized by Intertribal Agriculture Council and hosted by the Aroostook Band of Micmacs and sponsored by Maine Natural Resources Conservation Service. This year's event is open to high school and college aged youth (ages 14 - 22) and will be held August 1-4, in Presque Isle, ME.




Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all seats at the event have been filled. We encourage you apply ASAP to be considered for travel scholarship opportunity. Members and direct descendants residing on a reservation of all tribal nations, regardless of federal status, are encouraged to apply.
